Attractions

The "Jetty House @ Currambene" sleeps up to 10 people and is located on the banks of Currambene Creek in Myola. It is encompassed by the magnificent Jervis Bay National and Marine Park. The "Jetty House" has direct creek frontage and its own private jetty, for your personal use.

Most of your time will be spent on the verandah or jetty watching the children canoeing or playing, watching boats passing, in the sparkling clear waters of Currambene Creek. If the beach is preferred, it is only a short stroll to the beaches in the Jervis Bay Marine Park . Dolphins reside in Jervis Bay all year round and at times they can be viewed from the lounge area of the " Jetty House " as they make there way upstream Currambene Creek. Kangaroo's, Rabbit's, Kookaburra's, Possum's and colourful Parrots and Galah's will interest the children and adults alike.

If you have a boat, there is excellent fishing and game fishing from the Jervis Bay rock platforms. Just unhook the boat from your private jetty and cruise out to the famous Sir Joseph Banks region for Marlin, Tuna and Kingfish. Alternatively, enjoy Canoeing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Snorkelling, explore the creek, or swim at nearby Callala Beach. Some prefer to just lay on the deck or grassy reserve and watch the children jumping and/or diving off the jetty. If a scenic drive is in store, explore the famous Booderee National Park, visit Honeymoon Bay, go Surfing at "Target beach" a local surf break attraction.

The town of Myola/Callala Beach is a quiet coastal and well known holiday destination. The town has their small local Supermarket, Bakery, Cafe's and Italian Restaurant/ Seafood shop. Callala Recreation Club has a Bistro, TAB, Pokies, Bingo, Poker, Entertainment monthly, Golf, Bowls, a Courtesy Bus and often holds childrens Disco nights during the school holidays.

Location

The "Jetty House @ Currambene" is a pleasant 2.5 hours drive from Sydney, and only 1.5 hours from Wollongong and 3 hours from Canberra.
